Terms for My Family Circle · as of October 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to use of the app and related online services of My Family Circle (provider: Martin Brandner).

2. Service

My Family Circle offers a private family circle with features such as location (with consent), chat, and place alerts. Sensitive content is end-to-end protected; the server stores ciphertext for that purpose.

3. Registration

Use requires an account with a valid email. Credentials must be kept secret. One circle per person (product rule).

4. Acceptable use

• Only for a private family / relatives circle
• No abusive monitoring of third parties without a legal basis
• No disruption of the service, no automated attacks

5. Availability

We aim for stable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and security updates may briefly limit the service.

6. Liability

Liability for intent and gross negligence is unlimited; otherwise under applicable law. For data loss despite reasonable safeguards we are liable only within the legal framework.

7. Termination / deletion

The account can be deleted in the app. Access to the circle and related data then ends as described in the privacy policy.

8. Changes

Material term changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after effectiveness counts as consent where legally permitted.

9. Law

Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Consumer rights at the place of residence remain unaffected.
